Presentation
This summer, from 20 June through 27 July, Les Douches la Galerie is pleased to present a selection of our favourite works by Berenice Abbott, Tom Arndt, John Baldessari, Jean-Christophe Béchet, Harry Callahan, Sébastien Camboulive, Stéphane Couturier, Marion Dubier-Clark, Aymeric Fouquez, Arlene Gottfried, Hervé Guibert, Bernhard Hosa, Pascal Kern, Vivian Maier, André Mérian, Ray K. Metzker, Wayne F. Miller, Jean Moral, Marvin E. Newman, Steven Rifkin, Jacqueline Salmon, Homer Sykes, Sabine Weiss et Bruce Wrighton.
For our summer exhibit, each of the four members of our team has chosen a dozen works that appeal to their photographic development, aesthetic sensibility and taste in form. As a result, the heterogeneity of the selections reflects the great diversity of subjects and ways of using the medium of the artists that the gallery champions. In bringing together singular works rarely exhibited together, this selection also gives a glimpse into each member's predilections in photography and their persistent themes.
